AGREEMENT FOR SALE OF PROPERTY OF

DATE: the_________ day of _________, [2005].

PARTIES:

1 [name of seller] of [address of seller] in the Island of Trinidad (‘the

Vendors’); and

2 [name of buyer] of [address of buyer] in the Island of Trinidad (‘the

Purchaser’).

THE PROPERTY:

The Vendors are possessed of the Freehold Hereditaments (‘the Property’) described

in the Schedule hereto.

OPERATIVE PROVISIONS:

SALE OF PROPERTY:

(1) The Vendors shall sell and the Purchaser shall buy the Property on the fol-

lowing terms and conditions.

PURCHASE PRICE AND MANNER OF PAYMENT:

(2) The Purchase consideration for the Property shall be $[purchase price]

payable as follows:

A deposit of $[amount of deposit] (‘the Deposit’) shall be paid on or before the

signing of this agreement, the receipt of which the Vendors hereby acknowledge.

The balance of $[balance of purchase price] shall be paid on the date set

for Completion in clause 3.

In this Agreement time shall be of the essence of the contract but no party shall

be entitled to pursue its remedies upon a default unless and until it has given the

other party not less than ten (10) days’ notice to remedy the default.

This Agreement shall not become eective unless and until it is signed by both

parties and the Deposit had been paid to the Vendors.

This Agreement is not a deed and has not been executed by the parties to it as

a deed.
